It’s that time again. You know it, I know it…… That time when all those exes start hitting you up with the out of the blue texts. Now they suddenly want to profess their undying love for you and how you’ve always had their heart. Insert the laugh track. Mercury Retrograde is what you will hear spoken of out in these astrological streets. Out in the spiritual domain we all learn to be well versed in the dos and don’ts of the current retrograde season. Let’s delve into the phenomena known as Mercury Retrograde.
Mercury Retrograde…. what IS it?
Mercury Retrograde is a period in astrology, when it appears that the planet Mercury is moving backwards in the sky instead of forward. The period in time occurs three to four times a year lasting about 3 weeks. It has a pre and a post shadow period as well during which you might experience the symptoms and events associated with Mercury Retrograde.
What are the effects associated with Mercury Retrograde?
Mercury retrograde is said to wreck havoc with communication, tech devices, travel, past situations, people, places, events etc become relevant or resurface during Mercury retrograde, additional Mercury Retrograde has been labelled as a definitely do not sign, start or renew contracts during that time event. Take contracts to also mean relationships with people, places or things.
I tend to tell people that Mercury Retorgrade is a pop quiz or a test to see if you learned the lesson you were meant to the last time with that person, place, or thing. Did you get the lesson that was put down for you or are you going to get back on that karmic merry go round and get your ass handed to you? The main idea being that you are to do something DIFFERENT this time. Decide differently, go down another path. If the previous decision did not solve the problem, why DO IT AGAIN? Are you daft? But it is a review of the lesson. At the end of it either you are going down a new pathway OR you are about to learn so more of that lesson you obviously want to learn so bad. If its relationships be it in love, friendship, or family, at the end of it all either the issue will be laid to rest or it will crash and burn in spectacular fashion. It is all up to YOU.

Back up devices as those things data related as well as mechanical are likely to have hiccups around this time frame. Check tires, get your maintenance done. Hold off on starting new ventures or investing in new things….. its just a few weeks. Take your time in all things and expect some type of delay, be it on your end or the end of others. For sure you can revisit old ideas and ways of doing things. This is a time for introspection. Look within yourself and truly think on the situation, people, places, things, and how they relay to you, how the situation played out, and your part in things. And most of all, think outside of the box as you navigate the threads.
